Bus Transfers To and From Nuremberg Airport

Upon arrival at Nuremberg Airport (NUE), passengers can choose from several ground transportation services, including rental cars, taxis, rideshares, hotel shuttle services, trains, and buses.

As trains operate here from 4:00 am until 1:00 am only, there’s a night bus on Fridays, Saturdays, and nights before public holidays. Several public bus lines are also available 24/7. If you miss all the buses and trains, you can always get a taxi.

The bus station is near the airport building, behind the U2 Metro station at NUE.

Finally, if you ever need a bus in Nuremberg, it is best to go to the railway station. There is usually a bus stop outside the metro.

Night Bus Line

Night bus line N12 (railway station - Nuremberg Airport), runs every night from Friday to Sunday. They are available from 1:00 am up to 04:00 am in either direction.

You can buy your tickets at vending machines of red color, located near the subway.

The cost of a full adult ticket to Nuremberg city center in the machine is € 3.20, children (6-15 years), € 1.60. Single ticket and is valid for 90 minutes.

Adult ticket for a short distance (up to 2 stops) - €1.70, and for children, € 0.80. The ticket is valid for 60 minutes.

In slots, you can pay by cash or card. When paying by card along with the ticket will fall out a piece of paper-a receipt confirming payment.

Bus Line 33

This bus runs along the route Nuremberg Airport - Train Station (Fürth).

The journey time is 30 minutes. The fare is the same as the metro and night bus. Tickets are available at vending machines, online, and from the driver.

Bus Line 30

This bus takes the Nuremberg North - East station (Nürnberg Nordostbahnhof) - Erlangen (Erlangen), through the airport of Nuremberg route.

The journey time is longer at approximately 45 minutes.
